Back in Sacramento to take the puppy up to the snow…so of course I had to stop by my favorite coffee shop – Temple.
I haven’t tried a Kenya in awhile, so their Kimaratia piqued my interest as that’s a farm/region I’ve never heard of.
Nose: very mellow with hints of berry jam, cinnamon, baked good.
Taste: very jammy, I get blackberry/plum jam, tea, a little bit of baking spice, finishes a little earthy. As a French press, it’s a little heavier on the mouth, so that may add to the jamyness that I get.
Overall very tasty, would like it to have a less earthy finish though (may be French press fault)
